On March 2nd, the cluster hosted an Industry Day event along with Circular Bioeconomy Cluster South-West in Kerry Sports Academy, based in the North Campus of Munster Technological University. This event was part of Innovation and Enterprise month and it marked a big milestone for the cluster as it was our first in-person event.
Members had the opportunity to take part in collaborative workshops and a matchmaking session to meet with fellow cluster members. There was an opportunity to hear from Bianca Dragomir, CEO of the AVAESEN Cluster, on how clusters are agents of change and Professor Joseph Walsh of MTU who talked about the research centres and educational programmes available to industry. AgriTech Centre of Excellence, IMaR Technology Gateway and Shannon Applied Biotechnology Centre were also onsite to showcase their facilities and case studies.
The event was a success and we are delighted with how the day went. We would like to thank those who attended and participated in our workshops. The input on the day is key to shape future cluster activities. We hope you enjoyed the event and we look forward to seeing you all again very soon!
