Business Process Optimiser

The Business Process Optimiser is a programme for Ireland’s AgriTech companies to deliver business process productivity improvements by integrating digital technology solutions through a collaborative application of LEAN management techniques. This programme is being delivered by the AgriTech Ireland Cluster and AgriTech Centre of Excellence (ACE).

This programme is being delivered by the AgriTech Ireland Cluster and AgriTech Centre of Excellence (ACE).

How does it work?

Service delivery is using a structured workshop approach where collaboration between companies is at the core to deliver innovative productivity improvement.

There are three programme phases:

  1. Map current value streams and key processes.
  2. Benchmark existing business processes to compare with best practice.
  3. Improve processes by developing and driving an action plan with a regular check-in.

What are the goals?

  • Conduct a value stream mapping exercise to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Develop a digitalisation roadmap.
  • Create a framework to drive company productivity KPIs.
  • Support implementation of a productivity improvement plan.
  • Skills development in continuous process improvement best practice.

This is a must do programme if you are an AgriTech company who wants to fast-track an improvement project and has a desire to develop continuous improvement skills while nurturing teamwork.

The next programme cycle will be running from October 2022 to February 2023. Register by the 30th of September.
